Competition Draw - Spring 2017 - Mixed Open Wednesdays - D1&2

Games commenced Wednesday 27th September for the Spring Mixed Open Division playing at Jack Nash Reserve.

There is another Mixed Open competition playing on Mondays at Eschol Park plus Thursdays at Harrington Park.

There are 12 Mixed teams registered to play on Wednesdays.

There are games running in 3 time slots; 7pm, 7.45pm & 8.30pm

The Spring Wednesday Mixed Open competition was run ungraded for the first 5 rounds.

The results of these games were assessed and used to create 2 divisions.

Points accumulated in the first 5 rounds will count towards the season points score.

The draw for Rounds 11 & 12 will be played in the following format:

• Round 11: 1v2, 3v5, 4v6
• Round 12: 1v3, 2v4, 5v6

After the 12 regular Rounds, the top 4 teams in each Division will proceed to a sudden death  finals series in the following format;

• Semi-Finals: 1v4, 2v3
• Grand Final: Winners from Semi-Finals

Cash prizes are on offer for all teams who make the Grand Final, with the Premiers also scoring customised branded merchandise of their choosing.

Requests for non-competing game times for players playing in multiple teams has been supported.

Requests for early and late games have been supported where possible.

There will be a one week delay to the season before the Grand Finals will be played, now scheduled for Wednesday 31st January. This is due to logistical issues, with Grand Finals scheduled at multiple competition locations on the same evening of Wednesday 24th January. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The season is drawing to a close with the Grand Final games now scheduled. Grand Final games will be followed by a Free BBQ, Drinks and Presentation. We invite all registered players and their friends to attend, cheer on their favourite team and join in the festivities. We wish the best of luck to all teams.
